This module introduces Apprentices to contemporary front-end web development techniques with a strong focus on mobile responsive layout and user experience design concepts and techniques.

This module starts by teaching the basic principles of user-centric interface and interaction design.  In practical lab-work, Apprentices put these principles into practice with small, real-world formative tasks.

Apprentices will learn how to design page layout and interaction, based on UX techniques and how to build and style web pages with HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).

Apprentices will be taught related techniques such as embedding third party data such as maps of streaming video. 

 Apprentices will be taught various techniques for making a site live on the Internet by migrating to a live hosting environment and related system testing.
